Keypoint Technologies

Keypoint Technologies, a privately funded company, was founded from developing a new range of keyboards aimed at making computing more capable, accessible, and usable. The concept of this product was developed for the founders brother after he tragically lost an arm in a motorcar accident.

Following early development of this product, Keypoint were looking to understand the opportunities of developing this keyboard into new markets. At this stage Keypoint Technologies approached Wireless Innovation to use their Product Development service to review their existing IP and propose new product and market opportunities.

Reviewing their product portfolio, Wireless Innovation identified mass market potential for their associated Keyboard User Interface Software. Knowing the limitations of existing predictive text software, Wireless Innovation worked with Keypoint Technologies to help shape their product for the emerging mobile computing (PDA) and Smartphone market.
