The applications can be purchased and/or licensed from Helixion to address many different market sectors with the added bonus that Helixion can also bring world-leading expertise to help those businesses make the most of it. Our strategic development, the TARESS™ solution offers powerful next generation capabilities to those mobile Entertainment and Enterprise businesses seeking new and innovative ways to retain, attract and increase their market share through value-add services. TARESS™ is a software platform built into the new emerging technology of SecureMultMedia Card(SMC) and SmartSD Card. Both SMC & SmartSD embed a Java enabled Smart Card microcontroller device beside large-scale Flash memory, offering a powerful security capability. TARESS™ utilises these capabilities within SMC and SmartSD to provide high level security of local mass storage, advanced network authentication and the opportunity to offer secure branded/personalised value-add applications. In addition, strong graphical branding can be provisioned through the TARESS™ solution, either on the physical device or via graphics software. TARESS™ offers rapid development and release of new applications with software components enabled in the “TARESS™ device”, the Terminal and the Network. Helixion is able to support the full application production, test and integration service of their client's application.
