Rowan Norrie
Rowan Norrie is the Market Specialist for the Wellness Innovation & Technology Project. She is responsible for carrying out market research in the wellness market as a whole and support SMEs who are either active in this area or are interested in getting involved.
Working alongside Kevin Moore and Eve Hatton, she is also responsible for identifying opportunities for building a Scottish supply chain to support the global wellness innovation and technology markets.
Rowan has over 25 years experience in marketing, business development, product development and innovation in a range of industries, including healthcare, electronics, engineering, education and food & drink. She set up her own consultancy for business development and innovation in 2001. Prior to this she was with Ethicon, a Johnson & Johnson company for 11 years, where she held a number of roles in marketing and business development. She has also spent time in Germany with an international consultancy working on projects in developing countries.
Rowan has an MA in French, a postgraduate diploma in international marketing and business studies and a diploma from Harvard in product development.
