Appshare Ltd got Talent
Appshare Ltd, one of many Hillington Park Innovation Centre tenants, is on the verge of launching its business software that can slash the cost of business meetings and reduce the impact on the environment. The company claim its technology, which was developed in 2000 under Dr Lykourgos Patropoulakis at Strathclyde University, will allow companies to eliminate the need for most employees to travel to business meetings.
The spin-out company have received Business and Financial support from Braveheart Ventures and Scottish Enterprise and are convinced that they would have struggled to get their business off the ground if it wasn't for the support they have recieved here in Scotland. Ronnie Scotland of the Hillington Park Innovation Centre is the Innovation Advisor of Appshare Ltd, who now have five full-time staff – all chosen on talent and there’s a mix of nationalities and cultures represented on the payroll.
Thanks to the TalentScotland website, Appshare have found the right people for their business and will be going back to TalentScotland when recuiting again in the near future. To read this article in full please click here
