KeyPoint Technologies Win Software Award
The coveted Scottish Software Award for the Best Emerging Company has been won by KeyPoint Technologies (UK) Ltd.
The award is another accolade for the company whose Adaptxt Think Ahead multilingual predictive text product is proving to be a global winner.
The software developed by Sanjay Patel, CEO of KPT, and his team is capable of learning. Available in 27 languages it understands the nuances of language and accurately types ahead of the user by suggesting words learning from writing traits.
Based at Hillington Park Innovation Centre and supported by Innovation Centers Scotland’s (ICS) advisory team KTP was presented with the Scottish Software Award, at the gala ceremony held in the Radisson SAS Hotel, Glasgow on the 28th November.
The Best emerging Business category was sponsored by the technology magazine Hi -Tech Scotland.
NS Design, also based at Hillington, were runners up in the Best Environmental Software Solution 2008, sponsored by Enterprising News.

” KTP’s success is the second award within two months. The company won the “Best SpeedNet Pitch” at the 2008 Symbian Smartphone Show at Earls Court 2, London in October.
