10BigThings brews up a storm
With the announcement of the final line up of speakers for the 10BigThings Forum, the finishing touches are now being put to this dynamic assembly, the highlight of the calendar for the Scottish software, telecoms and ICT sector.
Organised by ScotlandIS and Innovation Centres Scotland, 10BigThings is a concentrated dram of thought leadership, focussing on the challenges and opportunities facing the industry three to five years out.
Chaired by David Mitchell, Ovum's hugely influential VP of IT Research,Speakers range from Martin Sadler, director of HP Labs who will explore the fast moving and increasingly complex world of mobile devices, to Charles Armstrong CEO of Trampoline Systems, winners of the 2008 CRM Magazine’s "Rising Star" award, an expert in deriving business value from social networking techniques. Duncan McTear, Director of 4Projects discusses the move to living in a beta world, and Mark Taylor, Director of Developer and Platform Evangelism, will unveil Microsoft’s latest interactive technology, in a first for Scotland.
With guest appearances by video from Greg Papadopoulos CTO of Sun and Stuart Cosgrove, Director of Channel4, and topics from Software as a Service, to "cloud" computing, there’s something for everyone.
