Green Web Hosting launched by NSDesign
NSDesign Ltd have partnered with Tree Appeal to launch a new “Green” Web Hosting package, aimed at their environmentally conscious client base.
The new “Go Green” initiative allows customers to pay an optional £5.00 contribution which is matched by NSDesign, allowing the planting of 1 native broad-leaved tree such as oak, beech and ash.
Managing Director Gary Ennis says “We’ve always been highly focussed on enviromentally friendly business practices like choosing to host our web servers in a Carbon Neutral Data Centre or recently offsetting our entire carbon footprint, and our Go Green campaign allows our customers to get involved, and help put something back into the environment.” By partnering with Tree Appeal, NSDesign join a number of environment conscious UK companies, looking to make a difference and help create a sustainable future.
"Initiatives like ‘Tree Appeal’ help support the Government’s strategy for sustainable development, with its aims of integrating our objectives on social progress, effective protection of the environment, prudent use of natural resources and high and stable levels of economic growth and employment to ensure a better quality of life for everyone, now and for generations to come" Jim Knight MP, Minister for Rural Affairs, Landscape and Biodiversity, DEFRA More information at: http://www.nsdesign.co.uk/webhosting/green_hosting
