Partnership Journey to Finland / Estonia - June 2003

The following companies in the mobile and wireless field in Finland and Estonia are looking for Scottish technology partners. A Partnership Journey to meet these companies in June 2003 is being organised by Scottish Enterprise in conjunction with Bradley Dunbar Associates, Hillington Park Innovation Centre (HPIC), Scottish Enterprise Renfrewshire (SER) and IRC Scotland.

TRL Group, Estonia

All the services provided by the TRL Group are based on its own wireless/wired infrastructure that allows it to serve all potential clients in a radius of 15km from the base station. TRL Group focus on 4 main areas: VEMIS broadband services, VPN, leased line rentals, design and building of wireless and wired local networks.

Scottish Enterprise are looking for a group of ideally 12-15 companies involved in the mobile / wireless arena to participate in the Partnership Journey. There is no cost to take part although participants will be expected to defray their own expenses for travel and accommodation. The Journey is envisaged as a continuation of the partnership work already carried out by SER and HPIC and hope it will lead to an ongoing relationship with Finnish and Baltic companies and that it may prove to be the first in a series of strategic collaborative relationships with targeted technology communities.
