John McAndrew
John is an experienced business advisor, consultant and manager delivering expert business advisory support to enhance business growth opportunities. A marketing specialist with significant experience of supporting SMES from a range of sectors in the creation and implementation of strategic marketing plans, he advises on new product and process development and assists SMES with identification of skills gaps, sourcing appropriate training and managing the work of consultants in marketing, ICT, finance and quality. John also has considerable experience of putting together complex finance packages for company growth requirements. With substantial knowledge of Scottish Enterprise, Local Authority and Scottish Government economic and business support programmes, John can ensure all relevant and appropriate business support is delivered to clients.
John was active in establishing and managing the Lanarkshire Business Incubation Centre. He fulfilled the remit of identifying, prospecting and nurturing high growth start up companies, particularly within the technology sector. John provided specialist advisory support by evaluating market feasibility and delivered guidance on new business formation, business plan development, finance raising and strategy formulation.
John is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and holds a BA in Business Economics in Marketing, an MBA and Technology Means Business accreditation.
