  3. Generating Value Through Innovation

    Apr 09 28 Start: 12:00 End: 14:00

A great idea on its own does not make a successful business.  To generate real value from innovation and product development, great ideas need to be understood and managed in a broader strategic context.    To effectively protect innovation and business as a whole, risks ranging from loss of know-how to threats of patent infringement need to be mitigated and managed.  This seminar will provide companies with insight into effective innovation and risk management.  Focus will be on practical, low cost methods of making innovation work for a business.  Dr Elizabeth Vokurka is a freelance IP Management and Innovation Consultant with over 8 years' experience in assisting high-tech and software businesses effectively manage their innovation and in providing technical due diligence for investors.
