Siempelkamp Nuclear Technology (SNT) is a 100% owned subsidiary of the family business G. Siempelkamp GmbH & Co. KG. based in Krefeld Germany. G. Siempelkamp GmbH & Co. KG. has recently celebrated its 125th year in business and is currently operating in the following business areas:- • Machinery & Plant • Industrial Automation • Nuclear technology • Foundry technology • Metal Forming From within these business areas Siempelkamp Nuclear Technology (SNT) offers an extensive range of services covering the complete lifecycle of nuclear facilities and especially new build products from overhead cranes to the core catcher, from decommissioning tools to containers for the transportation and storage of radioactive waste. SNT GmbH with its subsidiaries provides the following services:- • Project Management • Engineering • Components and system solutions for refitting and retrofitting and for decommissioning and dismantling • Modernisation / modification of components and systems • Cranes/Refuelling machines • Stud tensioning • Casks and containers • Recycling • Manufacturing and machining • Calculation and analysis • Service support The Siempelkamp Group comprises of 17 subsidiaries and affiliated companies as well as 9 sales and service companies. The Group employs 2,425 people and 91 trainees. The company is one of the largest family-owned businesses in Germany. The Group has an annual turnover in excess of 650m Euro's. SNT has established a Quality Management System in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001 and KTA 1401 as well as an Environmental Management System in accordance with the requirements of ISO 14001.
