  1. Convergent Technologies Showcase and Conference

    May 09 13 Start: 09:00 End: 13:00

    Run in partnership with Stirling University Innovation Park, Scottish Health Innovations Ltd, EDTC and Nexxus, this major one day collaborative event will showcase technologies from a variety of companies that have the potential to meet future healthcare requirements. Its wide mix of participants will facilitate clinical feedback from end users of medical devices and business support where appropriate. The conference will also encompass a number of presentations and case studies, hosted by industry leaders and NHS innovators, which will identify technological advances and potential opportunities.

  2. Doing Business in Poland

    May 09 27 Start: 09:00 End: 17:00

    Martin Oxley, a brand new GlobalScot is running a series of seminars on 27th to 29th of May for Scottish businesses who are interested in learning about or doing business in Poland.

     

    Martin is currently CEO of the British-Polish Chamber of Commerce and already spends a considerable amount of time assisting companies with enquiries about working in the country. He sees great potential for future business between Scotland and Poland, has strong success stories on hand to support this and is very motivated to use his new position as a GlobalScot to do more with Scottish companies specifically.

     

    The seminars will comprise a morning plenary session, followed by 1-2-1 meetings / discussion.

     

    Specific areas of opportunity which Martin would be happy to address are:

     

    • FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) and branded product / food and drink retail
    • Biotech broader healthcare
    • ICT / creative industries
    • Energy / clean coal / environment
