Meet Freescale - 5th December 2008
Freescale Semiconductor, a global leader in semiconductor solutions with marketing and engineering teams in East Kilbride, Scotland, invites you to a “Meet Freescale” event on 5th December 2008. We will present our current and next-generation developments for the automotive, industrial and telecommunications industries.
You will have the opportunity to meet with Freescale's technology experts, see demonstrators in action, tour our lab facilities and network with other leading technology companies. Our Industrial team will present the latest developments for Industrial Ethernet, ZigBee®, 802.15.4 Wireless 2.4 GHz, building control solutions, sensors and advanced motor control solutions. Our Automotive team will present Freescale's 'concept car,’ showcasing the latest control technologies demonstrating our drive for efficiency and safety. A range of body applications and engine control will be exhibited, as well as in-car entertainment and instrument cluster.
In Telecommunications, our Networking team will present solutions for the latest broadband wireless technologies in LTE and WIMAX, multi-core processor environments, voice and video processing and ATCA (Advanced Telecommunications Communications Architecture). The event will be hosted by Steve Wainwright, General Manager & Vice President of Freescale's operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
