IEEE Digital Communications KTN SEMINAR

The Digital Communications Knowledge Transfer Network (http://www.dcktn.org.uk/) has been established by an industry-led group of leading players, with funding from the Technology Strategy Board. It seeks to bring competitive advantage to the UK by promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing between the users and providers of Digital Communications, and helping to drive innovation in the sector.
In addition, Dr Jim Rautio, a leading expert on James Clerk Maxwell, of Maxwell’s Equations Fame, will present a highly informative talk on "From Maxwell to Generation of Dark Light by Electricity”. This will be followed by a brief introduction to the Centre for excellence on Signal and Image Processing at Strathclyde. The Meeting offers a useful opportunity to meet Dr Terman and learn of recent developments in the IEEE, UK Communications, and on Signal and Image Processing at Strathclyde.
