UK Innovative Mobile & Wireless Technology Outward Mission to Japan
Are you a UK-based company looking to set up or grow your business in Japan? Then this visit might just be what you need!
UK Trade & Investment in conjunction with the British Embassy Tokyo and the British Consul General Osaka is running a market visit to Japan to help UK-based company’s access key decision makers and win business in the competitive Japanese market. The programme will provide UK-based companies the opportunity to meet with Japanese companies in the mobile and wireless technology sectors.
The programme will include one-to-one meetings, seminars, briefing meetings and networking receptions to help you maximise business opportunities in the Japanese market. Who should attend? The mission is designed for innovative UK companies across the mobile and wireless technology supply chain, with a special focus in the following areas: IC fabless design and communication infrastructure (including software) Mobile applications and content, especially mobile applications that are new and/or offer a measurable improvement in ARPU, power usage, size of phone etc.
What’s in it for me? This event will give you the opportunity to meet with leading Japanese players in the mobile and wireless sectors who are interested in UK technologies and solutions. Where? Meetings and events will be held in Tokyo and Osaka and there will also be an opportunity for companies to schedule their own one to one meetings outside the formal programme.

Innovation Funding and Support
The Scottish Government has changed the landscape for Grant Schemes for new and growing innovative businesses.
This event, which has been organised by Hillington Park Innovation Centre in conjunction with Scottish Enterprise and the Scottish Government will closely examine the new Smart, Innovation Support and R&D grants and highlight who is eligible for these grants and how companies can access these grant schemes.
