Digital Signal Processing in Communications - A Joint DC-KTN and DSP Scotland Event Tuesday 3 June 2008 The Western Club 32 Royal Exchange Square, Glasgow, G1 3AB

Working through 27 years of electronics companies some of the Marketing highlights and lowlights have occurred during key change periods. From rampant industry growth, through the bubble and onwards the key at all stages of business development is the ability and the willingness to learn and adapt. This becomes particularly apparent as any organisation starts to develop its own independent/interdependent management and leadership. Whether growing from a small to medium sized business establishing a new business focus (through business diversity or acquisition) or indeed at key stages of funding, the Marketing activity can add significant value to a business if integrated early and effectively. Successes and times of tension are highlighted Tim Summers Digital Systems Manager Freescale I intend to introduce Freescale, describe the R&D activities we have going on in East Kilbride and present some areas where we are seeking collaboration/ partnership from external sources which could represent good opportunities for local companies etc.
