The Cashroom

The Cashroom LLP is a partnership, set up in January 2008, which aims to offer a range of services – mainly, but not exclusively, for the Scottish legal profession - which uses the customer’s own software packages wherever possible and which operates on a same day basis so that the customer’s accounting records are up-to date at all times. This is particularly important to solicitors who are obliged to comply with strict rules when dealing with clients’ money. Individual customers are able to specify the extent of support which they need, and can also get the benefit of customised management information on a regular basis. Monthly management or weekly headline reports are easily produced and delivered with or without a commentary, depending on the needs of the customer. The partnership consists of Catherine O’Day who is the managing director of Dundas IT and Leslie Cumming who also runs his own separate consultancy business. Their combined experience in the accounting and computing fields make a powerful and unique combination which is already proving its worth to their customers.
